We are thrilled to announce the Kenya World Circular Economy Forum Global Studio 2023 (WCEF2023),a
groundbreaking one-day immersive dialogue that will bring together key stakeholders from various sectors to address the challenges and opportunities of the circular economy.
Hosted by African Circular Economy Network, this studio promises to be a unique and insightful experience that will take place on June 8th, 2023.
The studio will broadcast two sessions from the World Circular Economy Forum happening in Helsinki from 30TH May to 1st June 2023. Participants will have the opportunity to digest sessions from the main forum’s program and apply them to local topics and solutions through roundtables and panel discussions.
Business leaders, policymakers, and experts from all over Kenya will be participating, providing a deeper dive into local case studies and public agendas.
The Kenya Studio aims to create a space where local stakeholders can learn from each other, network with like-minded people, access invaluable information about the circular economy, and share their learning with interested parties.
The goal is to increase circular economy knowledge and taxonomy by contextualizing it to Africa and more specifically to Kenya. This immersive WCEF2023 workshop also seeks to inspire and help local businesses with circular economy solutions applicable to their specific context.
Expected outcomes of the Kenya Studio include increasing knowledge and awareness of local communities around topics related to environmental sustainability and circular economy, displaying and offering tangible examples of circular practices contextualized to that particular community’s needs, and granting the opportunity for local communities voices to be heard thanks to the presence of relevant local and national stakeholders.
