Alliad Kenya Joins Forces with Nature Kenya for Conservation

Alliad Kenya, a regional leader in supply chain logistics and integrated infrastructure services, has entered into a strategic partnership with Nature Kenya, the country’s foremost environmental organization dedicated to biodiversity conservation and ecosystem protection.

This collaboration focuses on the protection and restoration of Kenya’s Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs)—critical ecological zones that include forests, wetlands, and grasslands.

Through targeted tree-planting initiatives, the partnership aims to restore degraded habitats, strengthen ecosystem resilience, and support climate change mitigation efforts.

In alignment with its broader sustainability strategy, Alliad Kenya will also support Nature Kenya’s eco-community centers. These hubs promote grassroots conservation, environmental education, and sustainable livelihoods.

The company will contribute to training local communities in conservation practices and nurturing leadership in climate action.

Our partnership with Nature Kenya aligns with our mission to create lasting, sustainable impact in the communities we serve,” said Stephen Wanyama, Chief Executive Officer of Alliad Kenya. “We are committed to preserving biodiversity and strengthening community resilience through proactive environmental action.”

Alliad Kenya, part of Alliad (formerly GCC Services), provides logistics solutions across East Africa while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability, local capacity building, and long-term social and environmental value.

The company continues to embed environmental responsibility into its operations, including employee-led initiatives that support conservation.

Since 2024, Alliad Kenya has planted more than 1,250 trees in collaboration with local NGOs, with 25 employees participating across its business units. These actions reflect the company’s dedication to integrating sustainability into its culture and contributing to broader environmental goals.

The partnership was officially launched during a joint tree-planting event on Earth Day, April 22, bringing together employees of Alliad Kenya, staff from Nature Kenya, local community leaders, and environmental experts.

Progress and impact from the initiative will be highlighted in the upcoming edition of Alliad Kenya’s sustainability report and Nature Kenya’s public communication platforms.

This partnership underscores the role of private-sector engagement in accelerating biodiversity conservation while fostering inclusive, community-driven climate resilience across Kenya.
